The Viburnum Plicatum ‘Mariesii’ is a vigorous, spreading, deciduous shrub with distinctively tiered branches. In late spring it produces flat “lacecap” white flowerheads. In autumn it has heart-shaped leaves which turn red-purple.
Ideal for shrub and mixed borders, woodland gardens. The Viburnum Plicatum ‘Mariesii’ grows in any reasonable fertile, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. After flowering, lightly prune any shoots that spoil the outline of the shrub.
