The Polemonium Carneum is a moderately vigorous, bushy herbaceous perennial. In early summer it bears loose clusters of shallowly bell-shaped, pale-pink, yellow, occasionally dark-purple or lavender flower.
Ideal for mixed or herbaceous borders and rock gardens. The Polemonium Carneum grows in full light, dappled shape in any fertile, well-drained soil, although an alpine and herbaceous growing media is advantageous. Add grit to heavy clay soil to improve drainage. Deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers.
